Inches Tournaments (Adults must be on the boat for liability )
Lowcountry Redfish Inches tourneys in Beaufort County and Charleston/Berkeley County .........
The purpose of inches tourneys is to grow participation so we can have a regular weigh in tourneys next school year plus recruit teams for the Brody Bates Youth Redfish Open.
Series of 4 Events for a final Top 3 in each division based on the Best 10 over 3 months so this is NOT a one day event but a series of events. Good news is that you can fish one day and actually have a shot at placing in the Top 3 in your division. You can go back again and again to improve your numbers. It is the type of tourney if you only fish a couple of the events, you have a chance to win our at least get a goody bag at the end of the season with some fishing items from our partners.
-Everyone on the boat must be registered for the 24-25 season to participate and once you register for SALTT, you are good for the season and good for all events. Nothing else to do but RSVP the Sunday before an event with the director.
-Only the fish caught by the student anglers can be submitted.
-Adults can fish but only submit fish caught by the student anglers.
-Allows teams to have a virtual check in at any public boat ramp in the county tourney that you are participating in.
-Beaufort County teams must launch from a public boat ramp in Beaufort County
-Charleston/Berkeley County teams must launch from a public boat ramp in Charleston/Berkeley County
-In this event, there is no weigh in, we score by the inches.
-Each boat is a team so student anglers on the boat will split the gift cards or prizes. If you change team members, look over what is says in the detailed information section.
-The day before, you will be given a code word which will be a Bible verse for your index card. Boat captains are encouraged to discuss the Bible verse with the student anglers, but it is not mandatory.
