SALTT's mission is while providing competition on boats and practicing conservation of catch and release, the emphasis is sportsmanship in celebrating others while being eager to share oneself through community service.
SALTT is the Student Angler League Tournament Trail that offers :
-Membership in grades 1-12 for any public, private, home or virtual school student
-Membership is open to everyone so you do NOT have to have a team or club at your school
-Members can order the official SALTT jerseys as we will have an online store open during the summer
-Competitive Boat Tournaments where only the "kid's fish counts"
-school year season weigh in tournaments (4) in Georgetown for both reds and bass on the same day
-school year season inches tourneys (20) in the Lowcountry ( reds ) and Pee Dee ( bass ) to grow for future weigh in tourneys
-Free events partnering with FCA Fishing for kids with huddles where they can fish plus summer fishing events.
-Catch and Release Tournaments sponsored by SC Coastal Conservation Association
-Tournaments approved by SC Department of Natural Resources with Marine Tourney Requests
-DNR will potentially be at all of our weigh in tourneys so make sure you are legal
-Conservation Education of catch and release with partnership with Release Over 20
-students can register to win prizes through the website https://releaseover20.org/
-Community Service where our student anglers help recruit new members through non-boat activities
